HandyDadHQ is built around the things I genuinely enjoy doing: working with my hands, solving problems, learning new skills and helping people and animals.

My background spans IT infrastructure, carpentry, building and project management. That mixture of technical knowledge and hands-on experience helps me understand how things work, figure out what has gone wrong and find a sensible solution.

Together with my partner, I built the S&R group of companies from the ground up. One of those businesses was created at very short notice when another company suddenly closed, leaving vulnerable elderly people at risk of losing their care and staff facing the loss of their livelihoods.

We saw people who needed help, knew we could do something about it, and acted.

That experience probably sums me up better than a list of qualifications ever could. Alongside building and practical work, I provide vehicle transport and recovery and work with dogs and other animals. I hold a Diploma in Dog Obedience Training and I’m continuing my studies in Animal Science.

Whatever the job, my approach is the same: listen first, be honest about what’s needed, explain the options clearly and take pride in doing it properly. I won’t make a job bigger than it needs to be or promise something I can’t deliver.
